It is not the WHAT that matters, but the HOW.

Working with movers of various backgrounds inspires me as they bring a variety of references to the process of creation which are unfamiliar to me. Exploring their references, through my set of references and the concept of play, facilitates learning. The learning process which occurs in turn facilitates ideas. In the process, ideas simplify, we strip them to the bare minimum, the bare necessities. Together we zoom in on what remains and what it tells us. Only then can we design images around them. Something experienced, rather than reproduced. This for me results in a quality of performance which speaks across the borders.
